Bingin beach is located on the Bukit which means "hill" in Indonesian, and one of the area's main attractions is elevation. On its west coast, white limestone cliffs contrast dramatically against the brilliant blue of the Indian Ocean lapping along its pristine coastline, and the views from this region are simply breathtaking.

A lifestyle that involves cutting up the waves at Bukit's sublime surfing spots demands a fairly rigid routine and most importantly, a nutritious diet. Surfers and busybodies in the Bukit area are a big fan of the amazing acai served at Nalu Bowls, and we think you will be, too! Inspired by Hawaii and catered towards people who treat their body like a temple (speaking of temples, we are based just a 5-minute drive from Uluwatu Temple in Pecatu), our smoothie bowl shack in "Ulus" is a haven for indulging in the local flavours of Bali, while giving the body a dose of goodness.

Uluwatu's legendary Single Fin started from humble beginnings and has quickly moved to the top of any Indonesian bucket list. Whether you're after an icy cold Bintang to celebrate an afternoon of long lefts, feel like kicking back to Wednesday's acoustic jams, need to jump-start your day with a Revolver coffee, or if you just really have to let your hair down with a few cocktails at Bali's most renowned Sunday session, Single Fin is the venue for you. Beautiful balcony, the biggest in the archipelago, boasts stunning views of one of surfing's spiritual homes, and comes alive as the sun sinks into the Indian Ocean. Great music (including regular international DJs and live acts), fantastic food and a laidback atmosphere make coming to Single…

The Rock Bar is located along the 1.3 kilometer coastline of AYANA Resort and Spa Bali, a 77-hectare property that features 78 private luxury villas and a 290-room hotel. It has been heralded as one of the world's best bars by authoritative sources including CNN and The New York Times, and in 2011 was voted Bali's Best Sunset Venue in The Yak magazine readers' awards. The bar's innovative, minimalist design by Yasuhiro Koichi of Japan's Design Studio SPIN exploits the natural formation and character of the rock on which the bar sits, 14 meters above the ocean at the base of AYANA's towering cliffs. Your 360-degree vantage point affords nothing between you and the horizon but shimmering ocean waves (and the odd traditional fishing boat,…

This beach is accessible down a few flights of steps and through a limestone crevice beside a bridge. Across the road before the bridge, there is a spacious parking lot. Among the islands most favourite big surf breaks, Padang Padangs white sand beach offers a great view, and a small sandy area for sunbathing and doing just nothing. Local seafood warungs serve grilled fresh catches-of-the-day. It is a nice stopover if you have time along your visit to the Uluwatu Temple nearby.
