The welcome drink, a mix of rosemary, clove, star anise and rosella tastes somewhat strangely but exactly as the property smells which seduces you into a higher state of relaxation as soon as you enter. You are greeted by staff dressed in relaxed linen uniforms who seem as happy to be there as they holiday go-ers. It’s hard not to feel at peace when surrounded by wide open spaces and lush green gardens.

There is The Pool Pavilion serving cocktails and a bar menu, with their lobster Nasi Goreng being a clear favourite for guests grazing pool side or ordering room service.

Indoors the rooms impress on entering, with sliding, geometric screens separating the living and bedroom areas. Each and every room comes with a Japanese style sandalwood bathtub, the scent of which wafts through out the room and adds to the earthy feel of the property.
