Don't miss the chance to see Sydney's most-loved producer in a live setting and witness one of 2017's most outstanding releases be brought to life!!!!
Touch Sensitive, otherwise known as Michael Di Francesco has spent the last four years perfecting his debut album; crafting, collecting and absorbing inspiration, while still maintaining a proverbial approach to its production. Recorded between Sydney, LA and New York, Visions features an array of talent including LA-based producer Harriet Brown on "Comfortable", Brisbane-vocalist Tori Zietsch on "Two Walls" and New York artist WILLS on closing track "Putting On Airs", with Francesco leading a heavy rhythm section throughout.
Whether it’s remixing RÜFÜS / RÜFÜS DU SOL, collaborating with Flume or touring internationally with Flight Facilities, he’s become renowned as the man with an ear for hooks and impeccable taste.
Touch Sensitive is affectionately considered Future Classic’s spirit animal. His affiliation with the label runs deep; ‘Body Stop’ was one of Future Classic’s first releases and he has played on hits for a sizeable contingent his labelmates, including Hayden James, Flight Facilities, Anna Lunoe, Charles Murdoch and Flume, his blue bass is now recognisable across many of their live shows.
With his new album 'Visions', Touch Sensitive finally steps fully into the limelight, dancing shoes at the ready.
This year, Touch Sensitive exploded back into our hearts with #1 single "Lay Down". After heading to the States for a "Lay Down" single tour and to join label mates Flight Facilities and Flume on each of their American tours, Touch Sensitive returned home, dropped "No Other High", "Lose It All" & his debut album Visions. The infectious 10 tracker has been years in the making and received stunning reviews from Rolling Stone, Herald Sun, The Age and The Music, while highlighted single "Lose It All" kicked release week off with a triple j premiere.
