From 20 to 31 August 2019, Grand Hyatt Bali will host a special

guest chef, Mr Keiji Mine, who will highlight the mastery of

traditional Kyoto cooking techniques and create a sumptuous

collection of iconic Kyoto dishes. Gourmets can savour

delights such as Grilled Miso Marinated Sablefish, Braised

Duck and Bamboo Leaf Wrapped Sushi-Shrimp.

A la carte prices apply. Available daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.---

About Chef Keiji Mine

We welcome to Grand Hyatt Bali a special guest chef from Hyatt Regency Kyoto, Mr Keiji Mine, who will highlight the mastery of traditional Kyoto cooking techniques and create a sumptuous collection of iconic Kyoto dishes.

After graduating from the culinary school in Nagasaki prefecture (located in the northwestern part of Kyushu Island) in 1988, Keiji Mine decided to expand his professional cooking experience in Kyoto. He started working at Japanese restaurant in Kyoto Hotel Okura and another hotels. In 2017, he joined Touzan Japanese Restaurant at Hyatt Regency Kyoto.

On coming to Bali, Keiji Mine looks forward to introducing Kyoto’s iconic refined dishes developed from serving the aristocracy and imperial court in Kyoto. He said, I am very happy to have this great opportunity and I am truly honored to contribute my the culinary of my hometown to Grand Hyatt Bali.

Japanese cuisine at its best with open kitchens, a Teppanyaki section and a sushi bar. Serving authentic Japanese cuisine in a completely serene ambiance, Nampu offers a variety of dining experiences, including a Teppanyaki room and the main dining room, which serves fresh sushi, sashimi, Yakitori and tempura, as well as Tatami room for private dining.
