Interstellar Systems Birthday Bash
Interstellar have brought techno heavyweights such as Shifted, Minilogue, Morphosis, Marco Shuttle and Milton Bradley to Koh, as well as organizing Indonesia's largest alternative outdoor festival to date, the Eclipse Festival 2016.
Greetings cosmonauts ^ Interstellar Systems turns 1 this November! Yes, we are have been orbiting on the island of the gods for a year Earth time ~ While Earth time flies, spacetime combines space and time into a single interwoven continuum. The Interstellar voyage thus far have been universal and vast; and here we are still grooving to the beat ~

CAJAK's journey in electronic music started as a teenager spinning techno, house, and drum n bass records at university parties. In 2004 he moved to Tokyo as a student and held residencies regular events at Ageha, Womb, and Space Lab Yellow. He organised art and music events at various locations around the city from art galleries, concept spaces, boats, clubs, parks, to african strip clubs.
In 2010, he founded the Rainbow Disco Club festival, a leading encounter for past and future electronic music in Japan.
In 2012, he moved to Berlin where he realised his idea for a music search engine while curating and producing electronic music and technology art events in Tokyo for the city of Berlin and German cultural institutions. In 2014, he moved with his music machines and a crate of records to Bali and joined the Interstellar crew, organisers of the Eclipse Festival 2016.
CAJAK's music does not aim to tell a story or evoke emotions, rather it aims to create sensory experiences through raw and hypnotic machine sounds. As a DJ, however, you can find him playing a wide variety of genres from dub, house, disco, and techno depending on the context.
Born in 1970, Manu Blazy aka 3hm (pronounced “M”) is a DJ, producer, and label owner of Osiron Records. 3hm started djing during the early 90's French rave movement, playing experimental hardcore, hard-acid and techno. His first dj set was aired live on Radio FG in Paris in 1993. Despite playing mostly in underground rave parties, he was also given guest slots to play in the legendary Rex Club and Palace in Paris.
He officially started playing psychedelic trance in 1994, performing at major Parisian events with Mike MacGuire, Jens Waldenback & Xavier Morel of JunoReactor. He has also played alongside significant techno & trance artists throughout the years like Claude Young, David Caretta, Jerome Pacman, Alexander Kowalski, Mark Broom, Andrew Weatherall, A Guy Called Gerald, Shifted, Milton Bradley, Heiko Laux, Robert Leiner, Son Kite, Atmos, Hux Flux, Kindzaza, Para Halu, Man With No Name, Dado. Tristan, James Monroe, Ray Castle & Merkaba.
Cabbit 's music library spans across all genres and tempos; mainly ranging from electronica, idm, techno, trance, ambient and psychedelic. She has supported artists like Marcus Henriksson aka Minilogue/ Son Kite, Milton Bradley, Greg Coyle, Kox Box’s Ian Johansson & Loopus in Fabula.
She is also the founder of Interstellar, a boutique events, booking/touring and creative agency based in South East Asia and was the festival director of Eclipse Festival 2016, where an astronomical total solar eclipse was fully visible.
In 2016, she self-released her first music compilation with french collaborator dj3HM; VA-Reset, a double CD to commemorate the eclipse, featuring legendary artists like Robert Leiner, Eat Static, μ-Ziq, Legion of Green Men, Bandulu, The Delta, Nam Shub of Enki, Monster Zoku onSomb & more.
Following the release, sees a transformational period as she orbits through the next chapter of her creative trip while staying true to her choice of sound.
