Grand Hyatt Bali x Art cafe Bumbu Bali
Collaborative culinary experience is not a foreign concept in the gastronomy industry, especially to enhance the journey of food connoisseurs. This time, Executive Chef of Grand Hyatt Bali, Grzegorz Odolak will collaborate with the renowned Chef Heinz Von Holzen from Art Café Bumbu Bali – also known as simply Bumbu Bali – and bring authentic Balinese food into the spotlight.
The juxtaposition of Grand Hyatt Bali and Heinz goes way back up to 30 years. Before Heinz established his Bali legacy Bumbu Bali, he was the Executive Chef of Grand Hyatt Bali when the resort first opened in 1991. In 1997, Heinz opened Bumbu Bali, to serve and present authentic Balinese cuisine in its form with high quality ingredients.
Enjoy appetizer and soup selection, including the must-try oxtail soup – comprising slow-cooked beef oxtail served with potatoes, carrot, tomato and green sambal.
Another signature dish to try is nasi campur, showcasing one of the most extraordinary presentations you will ever find in Bali. Served in one big plate with each element contained in separate bowls to maintain the flavors, the dish comprises sate lilit, beef rendang and more.
In addition, check out dishes like be celeng base manis, braised pork neck served with shallots, garlic and chili in sweet soy sauce. Wrap up the experience with the sweet selection, including jaja injin, jaja batun bedil, godoh, and house-made ice cream. Furthermore, Garden Café also serves its own array of classic Indonesian and international dishes. Surrounded by cascading waterfalls and lagoons, Garden Café exudes the look and feel of a resplendent restaurant, perfect for a culinary quality time.
Guests are invited to sample the richness of Indonesian flavors by visiting Garden Café.
