Big Event Launch: The Ocean Day #1!
Genius Café Bali is proud to announce the new event series:
The Ocean Day (OD)!
The OD addresses the UN Sustainable Development Goal #14 “Life below water”! – We raise awareness about ocean protection, biggest threats, profitable business solutions for ocean protection, ecosystem services etc. The aim is to attract a diverse target group to educate children and adults, facilitate networking of NGOs and entrepreneurs tackling ocean challenges and collaborate.
On the OD, which always takes place on a Sunday every three months, every business, NGO or other organization that wants to address ocean matters can have a stall, a banner or an activity at Genius Café and present their concepts, products and services.
Partners and sponsors stalls are allocated at the entrance to Genius Café.
3.15-5pm: Trade-show & kids activities:
networking, exchange, trade show, organizations present their concepts, educational and entertainment activities for children & adults, watersports activities
5-7pm: Trade-show & live music:
networking, exchange, trade show, organizations present their concepts, Mark Ridout & the Rhythm are an uplifting and positive folk/reggae duo from Australia
7-9pm: 2-3 talks & Q&A, discussion and networking:
Ocean conservation from a natural scientific perspective as well as from a business perspective. Marine scientists and businesses share their story how they approach ocean threats with sustainable business solutions.
--> We are currently looking for sustainable businesses and organizations to participate and have a stall at Genius Café Sanur.
--> We are also looking for speakers, such as marine biologists, or entrepreneurs that tackle the UN Sustainable Development Goal #14 “Life below water” with profitable business solutions and share their story!
