Down To Earth was created in 2002, originally a home-based kitchen that has grown and developed into Bali, best known and trusted health food restaurants and marketplaces. The founder and director of Down To Earth is Liat Solomon, a trained nutritionist, macrobiotic educator, counsellor and vegetarian chef. The food served at Down To Earth venues has from the very beginning been created and perfected by Liat using her extensive nutritional knowledge. Our foods and products are all sourced ethically and sustainably. We have always supported struggling communities in Bali, Indonesia and around the world and are committed to preserving ethics, integrity and a common vision for the wellbeing of the earth. At DTE it is our mission to continue to support and share with those less fortunate than ourselves, and in doing so nourish our customers with the best quality food possible. DTE has two outlets, Earth Cafe & Market in Seminyak and Ubud.
