Think whitewashed wood, an eclectic collection of mirrors, some of the most creative light fittings you'll see on the island (done by Robert Nollet and co), a Moroccan-inspired lounge area with mags and newspapers, flower petals in silver bowls and lovely loos as well.
The light fittings range from pretty white-painted overturned baskets on the roadside veranda through to, well, a red antler chandelier. Cafe Bali in Seminyak is one of the best restaurants on eatstreet. It has a cool interior! By seeing the table clothes I went back in time, it reminded me of my grandparents' place. They decorated each table in the house with those old fashioned white crochet doilies. Well at Cafe Bali in Seminyak old fashioned go new-fashioned ;-).
Crochet doilies are hip! The fun mix of the interior design makes it a charming hotspot in the middle of the hustle of Jalan Laksmana (aka eatstreet) in the centre of Seminyak. White washed wooden furniture, the Moroccan inspired reading in the back, cute frames on the wall, striking lighting, it's all gorgeous!
