Bali is stunning. With crystal blue oceans, hanging green palm trees, white sand, and mesmerizing jungle, there are countless things to do and see. You don't want to miss any of Bali's best attractions under its pure blue sky and shining sun (you just can't forget your sunscreen).

Whether you decide on a typical Bali vacation or check out some Cruise Deals, Bali is worth a trip. But you can't see everything, which is why you need to filter out the things that aren't really worth it — so that you don't need a filter on any of your Instagram posts. Here are five of Bali's best activities and attractions.

1. Visit Seminyak

Seminyak has it all. This mixed tourist and residential area gives you a local flavor while also providing all the fun and exciting tourist activities that come along with a perfect vacation. The area is littered with beaches, spas, hotels, shops, fine dining, and bars. In other words, during the day you can relax and rewind (and treat yourself to a facial or a new outfit), and during the night you can let loose and enjoy the nightlife. Seminyak is the best of both worlds and a can't miss Bali spot.

2. Relax in Sanur

If you're looking for a more all-around chill vibe, Sanur is the place for you. You can start the day with a world-famous Sanur sunrise, which paints the sky with gorgeous colors and will blow you away. Then, you can spend the rest of the day walking leisurely along the Sanur boardwalk, relaxing with a book on one of the beautiful beaches, or trying out windsurfing or jet skiing on the water. At night, don't miss the Sanur Night Market, where you can taste delicious and authentic local food. In Sanur, you'll feel totally zen and never want to feel busy again.

3. Check out the Uluwatu Temple

Bali's Uluwatu Temple is one of their best-known tourist attractions, and for good reason. The best time to visit is around 5 pm; the temple is set on top of a cliff bank facing the Indian Ocean, which allows for the most spectacular sunset view during your exploration of the Temple's intricate architecture. You'll also learn about the Temple's rich history, and you might even catch a showing of the famous Balinese Kecak and fire dance.

4. Play With Monkeys at the Ubud Monkey Forest

Have you ever hung out with a real-life monkey? If you have, you know how joyful it is, and if you haven't, add it to your bucket list. The Ubud Monkey Forest is the natural habitat and sanctuary of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey and visiting it provides a close and personal experience like no other. Not only is the forest home to 700 adorable monkeys, but you can also see 186 species of trees and revel in the fresh air of the jungle. The Ubud Monkey Forest lets you spend the day being silly and letting loose with your new monkey friends in a safe and environmentally conscious way.

5. Spend Time on Diamond Beach

Diamond Beach is guaranteed to be the most beautiful beach you will ever see, and visiting it just became possible in 2018. So take advantage! The water is a breathtaking aqua blue and is surrounded by sand, limestone, and palm trees. For the best views, you can hang out right on the sand or look down from a high-up viewpoint; in fact, there is one Diamond Beach viewpoint that stands out above the rest, which is accessible by climbing a flight of rocky but rewarding stairs. All in all, if there was ever a place to take an Instagram photo, it's at Diamond Beach.

Add Bali to your travel bucket list and you won't regret it. Whether you're spending time on the beach, in the jungle, watching the sun rise and set, or playing with monkeys, Bali is not a vacation destination to miss.
