Representing the usually quiet ‘hood of Nusa Dua, the new Manarai Beach House is a hidden gem that spills right onto the soft white sand with blue and white parasols and daybeds. If you’ve never headed to this part of the island, where the most pristine beaches are, you need to, STAT.

Private cabana and poolside bar with submerged seating

Manarai is pretty much paradise in fifty shades of blue curated by the style-savvy folks at ISMAYA Group, a renowned name in the lifestyle and hospitality industry. The whole set up showcases a blend of traditional Balinese craftsmanship and modern styling.

Spacious sun-lounges line two pools, one of which has a swim-up bar There are also tropical cabanas available if you want some privacy.

Forgot your sunscreen and don’t want to get burned? Enjoy the summer heat in their cozy outdoor shaded lounge.

If you didn’t capture a shot posing by the pool, did you even really go to a beach club? Up your Instagram game with their large beach towels with super cool taglines: ‘Wassup Beaches’ and ‘Hey Gorgeous’.

Did we mention that Manarai also has a killer cocktail list?

Our favourite was the Girlfriend, Yes!! which came with coconut sorbet in a cocktail glass, a small bottle of champagne and a pandan leaf that doubled as a spoon. How-to: Have a few spoons of sorbet. Pour the champagne over the remaining sorbet and mix. Drink. Repeat.

With Manarai’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus featuring Indonesian and International cuisines, you can definitely spend your whole day by the beach. Plus, unlike most beach clubs, there’s no minimum spend here. There’s also a restaurant on-site if you’re looking for a more upmarket dinner.

We ordered the Crispy Tuna Tempe and if we had to sum it up in one word… delicious. . Guess we found our new favourite restaurant on the island!

If you’re all about clean eating, we’d recommend the Freekeh Grain Salad; quinoa, barley, pomegranate, raisins, and a dash of cumin yogurt.

For the main course, we tucked into a generous-sized Jimbaran-style Red Snapper The Tagliolini drenched in truffle butter and garnished with some fresh black truffles was our favourite on the menu!

Have a sweet tooth? The banana pudding served with salted caramel is for you.

Although it’s tucked away from the bustle of the city, Manarai Beach House lives up to your expectations of a full-fledged beach club you’d normally find in Seminyak or Canggu.

In fact, the beachfront venue also has its very own wine shop offering more than 100 international and exclusive labels. Not only can you drink from their impressive selection, you get to take your favourite bottle home!

Tip: If you want to score a free drink, be sure to sign up for their daily beach games that are usually held in the afternoon.
