Bali's Mount Agung has experienced some minor volcanic activity today, just days after the alert status for the troubling volcano was lowered.

Some photos posted to instagram and twitter show a small plume of smoke rising from Mt Agung, located approximately 75km from tourist hotspot of Seminyak. Larger eruptions late last year saw an exclusion zone of around 10km from the crater and well away from major tourist areas.

Currently all reports from officials are that it is not affecting flights in or out of Bali (but authorities are watching the situation as it develops).
