Experience Life in Rural Fishing Village of Perancak
Inspired Village Adventures provide conscious travelers with an invaluable opportunity to venture far beyond the beaten paths of Bali, to discover the local rural village life, and to be inspired by the beauty and creativity of Balinese culture. These adventures also support and incentivize local communities to keep and maintain their ancestral lands and sustainable way of living.
We will learn about sustainable agriculture and rural Innovation by traveling to the homes of farmers, fishermen,and villagers in remote parts of West Bali to meet with farmers and learn how they care for their crops. Through this experience, we hope to be more connected with rural communities of Bali, the agrarian way of life in Bali, and our relationship between our physical and spiritual selves and Mother Nature.

Painted Fishing Boat
The beautiful fishing boats of Perancak are built in the Bugis tradition and blend Hindu and Islamic elements into their painted designs. Learn the history of how these boats became a part of Perancak village and how they fish in pairs.
Mangrove Boat Ride
Get into a small fishing boat and travel down the river to explore mangroves. Learn about how mangroves grow, their benefits to the environment, and the challenge of maintaining them.
Turtle Conservation Site
Pak Komang comes from a family that once hunted turtles to make a living. However, he went against family tradition and decided to build a turtle conservation site to protect and preserve the different species of turtles in Bali. Learn about the turtles that frequent the area, how they reproduce and lay eggs, and how the center protects baby turtle eggs. Pick up a baby turtle, hold it, and release it into the sea.
