Bali Authentic Experience Tour (With Visit to Batukaru & Lunch)

Depart in the morning west for Tabanan and visit a typical Balinese village that is home to many traditional Balinese resident compounds. Balinese families traditionally live in many houses that surround a patio with the family temple facing Mount Agung, the home of the Gods.

Jatiluwih, a vast rice terraces which looks like a giant bowl of yellowish green (depending on the harvest time). It is listed as UNESCO sites due to the subak , the cooperative social system that controls the water, and an integral part of religious life. Rice is seen as the gift of god, and the subak system is part of temple culture.

Batukaru temple is surrounded by forest and the atmosphere is cool and misty due to its location on the foot of Bali’s second highest mountain Mount Batukaru. It has a seven-roofed meru (multi-roofed shrine) dedicated to Maha Dewa, the mountain’s guardian spirit, as well as shrines for Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan lakes.
